Position: Mid-weight Social Videographer/Editor
Location: London/Hybrid
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Salary: Up to £34,000 (Depending on experience)
Overview: Mid-weight Social Videographer/Editor
We are looking for a Mid-weight Social Videographer/Editor to shoot and edit social videos for our clients and for the agency’s social channels.
You must be creative, skilled and passionate, as well as super-organised, keen to learn and confident on set. We’re producing more and more social video content for our clients and want someone with hands-on production and post-production experience. As well as bringing new ideas to the table to help keep our social content fun, fresh and innovative.
This job spec outlines what you’ll do – but how you do it is just as important. It’s about working hard without losing your sense of humour or your respect for those around you, adding genuine value through quality work and a drive to be the best, and working as part of a team with colleagues and clients towards success.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce fun, original, engaging social media video content
- Full of ideas and itching to contribute to creative brainstorms
- Capture high quality video and sound content with minimal crew
- Happy working as part of a team or independently
- Ensure all deadlines are met across the production process and deliver final assets on time
- Champion video innovation within the social and studio teams
You need to have the following skills and experience:
- Understanding of, and experience in, social filming and video editing techniques, equipment and software
- 2/3 years professional experience in a creative or content agency, or production company environment
- Studied media production or videography to degree level
- Hands-on experience editing and capturing social media content
- Experience in content production using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent
- Experience editing content for all the leading social platforms
- Are a dab hand with After Effects
- Are familiar with AI moving image software
- Can mix music up a storm

We’ll keep you busy:
- Owning the creative brief from concept to delivery.
- Conceiving and executing original social video content to the highest possible standards.
- Shooting, editing and post-producing your work for social channels but ready to oversee external editors, videographers, animators, etc. as required.
- Managing your own time and workload to meet agreed deadlines.
- Constantly absorbing creative inspiration, through peers and competitors’ work, cinema, exhibitions, etc.
- Keeping up-to-date on industry best practice, channels and emerging trends.
- Involving colleagues in your work, encouraging contributions in brainstorms, asking opinions, inviting/seeking positive criticism.
- Making a positive contribution to our studio environment (e.g. sharing knowledge and experiences) and taking the initiative to make it a better place.
- Actively contributing to the creative personality of the agency.

Requirements:
- Be fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and equivalents.
- Fluent in the latest AI moving imaging packages, able to integrate AI-generated footage with pre-existing stills and video.
- Be a self-starter who can work within allocated time scales and meet deadlines.
- Able to juggle projects and stay calm under pressure.

Hours and location
- Our office is in Farringdon but we’re happy for people to blend home/office working in a hybrid pattern.
- Our core hours are 9.30-5.30 Monday- Friday
