The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. All four of our wonderful schools are graded as good or outstanding schools by Ofsted. We are extremely popular, over-subscribed, forward-thinking schools with supportive staff and fantastic children.
We are looking to appoint an MDSA to join our friendly and supportive infant school team. The successful candidate will be employed by the Trust as a whole, but the current vacancy is based at Ad Astra Infant School.
Duties for the post will be to organise and develop safe, purposeful and creative play during the lunchtime break which enriches the pupils’ learning and supports positive behaviour. The post may also include the supervision of children in the school hall whilst eating their lunch and to help prepare for and clear up the hall at lunchtimes.
Previous experience and a First Aid qualification are an advantage but not essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
