Middle Office Analyst – Futures & Options
Location: Bishopsgate, London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (up to £75,000 for exceptional candidates)
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global brokerage as a Middle Office Analyst within its growing London operation.
Working directly alongside Front Office brokers, you'll play a critical role supporting the Listed Futures & Options business, ensuring the seamless processing of trades from execution through to settlement. This is a highly visible, front-office-facing role within a collaborative global team and offers excellent long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Front Office brokers across the full Listed Futures & Options trade lifecycle.
- Validate, allocate and monitor trades from execution through clearing and settlement.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational exceptions.
- Perform daily reconciliations and ensure accurate trade processing.
- Liaise with brokers, clearing teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Monitor operational risk and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with global Middle Office teams across multiple regions.

About You
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- 3-5+ years' experience within a Middle Office environment.
- Strong Listed Futures & Options experience.
- Previous experience supporting Front Office brokers.
- Excellent understanding of the trade lifecycle.
- Experience handling trade breaks, reconciliations, and operational queries.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to take ownership.
