A London-based single-family office is seeking a Risk Analyst / Middle Office Associate to join its investment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor portfolio risk across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and derivatives.
- Produce risk reports, exposure analysis, stress testing, and scenario modelling for senior leadership.
- Monitor derivative exposures, Greeks, collateral requirements, and fixed income risk metrics.
- Ensure adherence to investment guidelines and risk limits.
- Oversee reconciliations of positions, cash, and NAV across custodians and structures.
- Manage trade lifecycle processes including settlement oversight and break resolution.
- Maintain portfolio management system integrity and support independent valuation processes.
- Produce performance and attribution reporting across the portfolio.

Key Requirements

- Hands-on experience monitoring and reporting portfolio risk across multiple asset classes.
- Strong understanding of investment operations and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
- Practical experience with reconciliations, settlements, corporate actions, and custodian oversight.
- Experience working within a family office, asset manager, hedge fund, private bank, or fund administration environment.
- Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills.
- A genuine long-term interest in risk, middle office, portfolio oversight, or investment operations functions.
