Middle Office Associate – Operations

£60,000–£65,000 | Permanent | Corporate Banking

We are partnering with an established international bank to recruit a Middle Office Associate – Operations to join its Corporate Banking division.

This is a broad role covering both Loans and Payments, with responsibility for supporting the execution and ongoing management of corporate and commercial lending transactions.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and process loan documentation, including syndicated, bilateral and commercial property lending
  • Manage drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, amendments and other loan lifecycle events
  • Support international banking operations and payments activity
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers, Operations, Treasury, Credit, KYC, lawyers and borrowers
  • Review guarantees and counter-indemnity documentation
  • Ensure transactions meet internal, regulatory, CDD and AML requirements
  • Support process improvement and operational change initiatives

About you

  • 2–4 years’ experience within Middle Office, Banking Operations, Trade Support or a similar environment
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and processing
  • Experience with syndicated and/or bilateral lending
  • Exposure to payments or wider international banking operations
  • Confident working with lawyers, borrowers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills
