Middle Office Transformation - Asset Reconciliation Specialist (Aladdin)
Location: London - Hybrid
Contract: 6 months initially + extensions
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Middle Office / Asset Reconciliation Specialist to support a major transformation within a leading Asset Management organisation. The project involves bringing the Asset Reconciliation function from an outsourced provider in-house, using BlackRock Aladdin as the core platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the transition of Asset Reconciliation from an outsourced to an in-house model.
- Help design and implement the new reconciliation processes and operating model.
- Work with Operations, Technology, and Change teams to define requirements.
- Support reconciliation across positions/holdings, cash, and transactions.
- Manage reconciliation breaks, exceptions, and operational issues.
- Support Aladdin implementation activities, testing/UAT, parallel runs, and go-live.
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, controls, and escalation procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate reconciliation processes.

Requirements
- Strong Asset Management / Investment Management / Middle Office experience.
- Strong hands-on Asset Reconciliation experience.
- Practical experience with BlackRock Aladdin, ideally Reconciliation and/or IBOR.
- Experience with Middle Office transformation / operating model change.
- Strong understanding of positions, holdings, cash, and transaction reconciliation.
- Experience with reconciliation breaks, exception management, and operational controls.
- Experience supporting system implementation, testing/UAT, and operational readiness.
- Strong stakeholder management across Operations, Technology, and Change.
