Position
Middleweight Interior Designer
Middleweight Interior Designer to join a London architecture and interiors practice. Working under the guidance of a senior project lead, you will take responsibility for defined areas of projects, developing concepts, layouts, material palettes and detailed drawing packages.
The role offers a balance of creative work and practical delivery. You will contribute to client presentations, coordinate information with consultants and help resolve design and technical queries as projects progress towards construction and site. You will organise your workload around project deadlines, maintain the quality of your deliverables and support junior colleagues, while building your own experience and confidence.
This studio could also consider an experienced and talented Junior Designer.
Candidate
- Experience contributing to interior projects from design development through to technical delivery
- A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design, clear presentations and strong attention to detail
- Confident producing technical drawings, with an understanding of materials, construction and interior detailing
- Strong Revit skills, proficiency in SketchUp, and working knowledge of Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite or similar presentation software
- Comfortable presenting ideas to clients and communicating with the wider project team
- Able to manage competing priorities and take ownership of allocated work with guidance from a project lead
- A collaborative approach, willingness to support junior designers and enthusiasm for continued learning
- Willing and able to work from the studio five days per week. No hybrid working offered
- Must have the right to work in the UK. No visa sponsorship available
