About the Role
Are you a Quality Assurance Engineer who enjoys building robust automation frameworks and taking ownership of product quality from end to end?
We're partnering with an innovative software company that's developing AI-driven technology to solve complex infrastructure and sustainability challenges. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for a QA Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their platform.
The Role
You'll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design, develop and maintain automated testing across web applications, APIs and backend services. This is a hands-on position where you'll have genuine ownership of the automation suite, helping to shape testing practices while contributing to a high-quality engineering culture.

Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain automated UI, API and service-level tests
- Create and maintain BDD test scenarios and automation frameworks
- Own end-to-end test coverage for key product areas
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Investigate test failures and raise clear, actionable defects
- Manage test environments and test data
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve software quality
- Contribute to regression testing and release confidence
- Help evolve testing practices across automation, performance and platform validation
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high-quality standards
What We're Looking For
You'll have experience in test automation and enjoy working in a collaborative engineering environment.
Ideally you'll have experience with:
- Test automation using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Playwright or similar UI automation frameworks
- Experience with Python
- API testing and REST services
- BDD and Gherkin methodologies
- GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms
- Docker and containerised development environments
- SQL databases and test data management
- Jira or similar Agile tooling
