Job Title: Midweight Creative – AI & Generative Design

Location: Bournemouth – studio-based

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 DOE

Job Ref: 40136

AI is changing the way creative work gets made – and this agency wants someone who is already properly using it, not just experimenting around the edges.

We’re working with an established integrated creative agency looking for a Midweight Creative who combines strong conceptual thinking and design craft with hands-on experience using generative AI.

You’ll be joining a collaborative creative team working across campaigns, digital, social, content and brand projects for some major B2B clients.

This isn’t about using AI to replace the creative process. It’s about understanding how it can help you explore ideas, prototype faster and create work that might not have been possible before.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work alongside designers, copywriters, strategists, developers and motion creatives, taking projects from initial brief through to final delivery.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Developing creative concepts across integrated campaigns, digital, social, content and brand
  • Using generative AI throughout your creative process to explore ideas and push execution
  • Creating high-quality visuals, video, audio and motion using tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, Sora, Kling, ElevenLabs and similar platforms
  • Taking AI-generated work into Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to refine and finish it properly
  • Creating presentations, prototypes and campaign assets for clients
  • Contributing to pitches and internal innovation projects
  • Keeping up with emerging AI tools and sharing useful new techniques with the wider creative team
  • Helping other creatives understand how AI can be integrated into their workflows
  • Presenting ideas confidently and building strong relationships with clients

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have 3+ years’ experience within a creative agency and a portfolio that shows both strong ideas and excellent execution.

Crucially, AI should already be part of the way you work.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Hands-on experience using generative AI across image, video, motion and/or copy
  • Strong conceptual thinking – you start with the idea rather than relying on the prompt
  • A portfolio featuring AI-generated or AI-assisted creative work
  • Strong visual taste and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Confidence presenting your work and talking clients through your thinking
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to challenge ideas
  • Genuine curiosity around new tools, technology and ways of working

Experience working with B2B brands or more complex products and services would be useful, but isn’t essential.

Motion, animation, video generation, workflow automation or experience experimenting with emerging creative tools would also be a bonus.

The agency

You’ll be joining an established integrated creative agency with a long track record of producing award-winning work.

Their clients range from global brands to ambitious challengers across sectors including technology, cyber security, finance and insurance, with projects spanning campaigns, digital experiences, content, social and more.

They’re now putting AI at the heart of how the creative team works – while still firmly believing that the best work starts with a great idea, strong creative judgement and good craft.

For the right person, there’s a real opportunity to have an influence beyond your own projects. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, introduce new tools and workflows, and help shape how the wider creative team works with AI.

If you’re a creative who is already using AI to make better, more interesting work – and you’re excited about where the industry is heading – we’d love to see your portfolio.
