MIDWEIGHT DESIGNER
Manchester | 4 Days in Office
About One Day Agency
One Day Agency is an international, integrated advertising and marketing agency with offices in Manchester, London, Warsaw and Paris. We’re a team of 21 working with brands of all sizes across the globe, from growing ecommerce businesses to F1 teams. We bring creative, media and strategy together to develop integrated campaigns across OOH, TV, radio, digital and social, helping brands grow through stronger and strategic integrated marketing.
The Role
We’re looking for a Midweight Designer to join our creative team at our Manchester HQ.
You’ll work across a broad mix of client and agency projects, including paid social, digital campaigns, OOH, motion, video, pitch decks and One Day Agency’s own creative output.
This is a hands on role for someone with at least 3 years of experience working within an agency environment, who’s confident taking a brief from initial thinking through to final execution.
You’ll be expected to develop ideas, explore creative routes and turn them into well crafted campaign work across both static and motion. You’ll also adapt creative across different channels, formats and markets while maintaining the strength and consistency of the original idea.
You’ll work across multiple clients and deadlines at once, collaborating closely with the wider creative, media and client teams. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, make good creative decisions independently and know when to bring others into the process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
