About the Role
Our Antenatal Ultrasound Midwife Sonographers are at the heart of maternity care in Jersey, playing a critical role in supporting women and families through some of the most important and life-changing moments they will ever experience.
As a trusted clinical expert within the Women's, Children's & Family Care Group, you'll use your specialist expertise across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester ultrasound to deliver exceptional diagnostic care, providing independent assessments and reports that directly influence clinical decision-making, patient management, and pregnancy outcomes.
Every scan you perform, every diagnosis you make, and every conversation you have will have the potential to shape a family's experience and help ensure the best possible care for women and babies.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with obstetricians, gynaecologists, midwives, GPs, and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate maternity services, using your expertise to inform clinical pathways and support complex decision-making.
- Alongside providing a high-quality ultrasound service, you will contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, audit, education, and service development, helping to enhance antenatal care across the Island.
- You will share your knowledge and expertise with trainee sonographers, midwives, and medical staff, champion best practice, and support the development of future healthcare professionals.
