An established engineering specialist in Haverhill is looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join their team. This role would suit a skilled MIG Welder with strong fabrication experience who is looking for a permanent opportunity with a company that offers good earning potential and opportunities to progress.
Working with heavy-gauge materials, you'll be responsible for MIG welding, fabrication and fitting of various products. The role offers £16.00-£18.00 p/hour, with the opportunity for further salary increases following a successful probation period.

MIG Welder Duties
- MIG welding heavy-gauge materials, including 10mm+
- Reading and interpreting engineering/CAD drawings
- Fabrication using various machinery, including drills, saws and grinders
- Stripping down and fitting products
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and specification
Pay, Hours & Benefits
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
- £16.00 - £18.00 p/hour, depending on experience
- Permanent position, after successfully passing a 3 month probation
- Opportunity for further salary increases after probation

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' MIG welding experience
- Previous heavy-gauge welding experience
- Fabrication experience
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Welding apprenticeship or qualification would be advantageous
- Self-motivated, reliable and hardworking
- Good common sense and a willingness to learn and progress
