About the Role
Our clients, leading engineering and fabrication companies based in the United Kingdom, are seeking experienced MIG/GMAW Welders with strong fabrication skills to join their teams. This is an exciting opportunity for international candidates looking to build a long-term career in the UK under the Skilled Worker visa route.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) to join metal components in line with technical drawings and specifications.
- Carry out general fabrication work, including cutting, bending, forming, and assembling metal structures.
- Interpret and work accurately from detailed fabrication and engineering drawings.
- Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment effectively and safely.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and fabricated parts meet required standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

- Proven experience in MIG/GMAW welding and metal fabrication, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and welding drawings and symbols.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and safety standards.
- Must have passed, or be willing to take, the UKVI IELTS English language test as required by UK Skilled Worker visa regulations.
- Relevant welding/fabrication certifications or trade qualifications are preferred.
- Willingness to relocate to the UK with company sponsorship.
