MIG/TIG/MMA Welder - Full-Time Hybrid Role

Role Type: Full-Time Hybrid
About the Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a MIG/TIG/MMA Welder based in Coggeshall, with some flexibility for working on site where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and MMA (arc) welding on pipework and mechanical components, following technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, inspect and measure completed welds.
- Collaborate with engineers and site teams to ensure projects meet quality and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot welding issues, maintain tools and equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in fabrication processes.

- Skills:
- Strong welding skills, including MIG Welding, TIG Welding, and general Welding experience.
- Proficiency in Arc Welding (MMA) techniques and safe operation of welding equipment.
- Good understanding of Materials used in pipework and mechanical fabrication, including appropriate welding methods and quality standards.
- Relevant welding certifications or qualifications, such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent vocational training.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding procedures.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in an engineering and fabrication environment.
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering, pipework installation, or industrial fabrication is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
