About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Grade A or B Solicitor to join our Military team, managing a caseload of military injury & accident claims, as well as conducting their own advocacy.

The Team

The team manage a specialist caseload of claims relating to military claims including:

  • Military Training Accidents
  • Military Parachute Accident Claims
  • Military Non Freezing Cold Injury Claims
  • Armed Forces Medical Negligence Claims
  • Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Claims
  • Military Bullying and Harassment Claims
  • Sea King Helicopter Cancer Claims
  • Military Hearing Loss Claims

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a caseload of Military matters
  • Effectively and efficiently conduct cases on behalf of clients in accordance with the overall policies and objectives of the firm;
  • Develop local business to secure referrals;
  • Participate in the development, marketing and success of the Military Department

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales and hold a current practising certificate
  • Be grade A or B
  • Have proven experience managing a complex caseload of either military claims or complex personal injury / industrial disease claims
  • Exceptional legal expertise and strong advocacy skills.
  • Have a good track record of consistently achieving billing and time recording targets
  • Have an ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism when advising clients and their families on complex and often emotionally challenging issues.
