About The Role
Based in Birmingham, this Milk Delivery Driver role with Pertemps Birmingham Commercial offers a genuine temp-to-perm pathway for a full-time, permanent contract. The position pays between £14 and £16 per hour, dependent on experience, and requires a four-night weekly pattern: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 21:00 to 07:00. Please note: this is a very fast-paced and physically demanding role. Drivers can be required to complete up to 350 drops per night, so you must be comfortable working at speed and maintaining a consistently high level of performance throughout a 10-hour night shift.
The Role
- Work 4 nights per week: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Work 21:00 – 07:00.
- Complete a high volume of milk deliveries, potentially up to 350 drops per night.
- Load, handle and deliver products safely and efficiently.
- Work to demanding delivery schedules and maintain high productivity levels.
- Provide a reliable and professional service to customers.
- Complete vehicle checks.
Pay & Progression
- £14.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Candidates with previous experience doing the exact same type of high-volume multi-drop milk delivery work may qualify for the premium rate.
- Candidates without direct milk delivery experience will be considered at the standard rate.
- Temp-to-perm position for candidates who demonstrate the required performance, reliability and commitment.

What We're Looking For
- 25 years of age or over (insurance purposes)
- Full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Proven experience of prolonged night driving.
- Direct milk delivery experience is highly desirable.
- Physically fit and capable of completing a demanding number of drops every night.
- Comfortable working at a fast pace for the full duration of the shift.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
This is not an easy delivery role. The successful candidate must be physically capable of completing a high volume of drops, be comfortable with prolonged night driving, work efficiently under pressure and maintain a consistently high standard throughout every shift.
