MINI UK Marketing - Placement Year (July 2027)

Location

BMW UK, Farnborough

About the Role

We are looking for confident and eager to learn individuals to join us and have four roles available within the MINI UK Marketing team covering Strategy, National and Retailer Communications, Events and Partnerships.

You will be working in the marketing team who are responsible for the delivery of all UK marketing campaigns, be that for the MINI brand or new model launches. We work with a number of agencies in a dynamic, busy and fun team with a work hard, play hard attitude.

Whilst MINI is part of the BMW Group, it has a very separate brand identity, with the smaller MINI team working autonomously from BMW. Everything from our dress code to office environment is reflective of the MINI brand.

What awaits you:

  • Our team structure allows you to take full responsibility for projects, operating as a key and valued member of the department from day one.
  • Collaboration with the wider team to deliver exciting campaigns and major events.
  • Coordinating and publishing weekly bulletins and key performance dashboards to internal stakeholders, as well as monthly competitor analysis.
  • Administration and steering of key focus topic working groups.
  • Support with developing the MINI team engagement strategy, including helping to organise team days and social activities.
  • Support the finance process for the overall multi-million-pound budget. This will include working with purchasing, raising purchase orders and completing month end.
  • Wider professional development opportunities across the BMW Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
