We are looking for a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to safely transport pupils and staff using the Academy minibus. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring the health, safety, comfort and wellbeing of all passengers while providing a professional and dependable service.

The role includes:

  • Carrying out routine vehicle checks
  • Ensuring the minibus remains clean, safe and roadworthy
  • Reporting any defects, incidents, or accidents
  • Refuelling the vehicle as required
  • Undertaking basic maintenance checks

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Follow all Academy health and safety procedures
  • Comply with the Minibus Drivers' Operating Instructions
  • Maintain a professional appearance while representing the school
  • Be flexible, as the role may involve covering for absent colleagues and supporting with other associated duties as directed by the line manager

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Previous experience driving a minibus or transporting passengers is desirable
  • Excellent reliability, punctuality, and communication skills
