Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently looking for caring and dependable Minibus Drivers to support a local transport provider in Bathgate on an ad hoc basis.
This is a rewarding role supporting older passengers with safe and comfortable transport to and from local day centres, helping them maintain their independence and stay connected with their local community.

🚐 The Role
- Safely transport passengers between their homes and local day centres
- Provide a friendly, respectful and supportive service
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Keep the minibus clean, safe and roadworthy
⏰ Working Hours
- Ad hoc work – hours are not guaranteed
- Monday to Friday
- Typical shifts are:
- Morning: approx. 8:00am–10:00am
- Afternoon: approx. 2:00pm–4:00pm
- Hours may vary depending on service requirements
✅ What You’ll Need
- Category D1 licence with no 101 restriction
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- PVG Disclosure dated within the last 3 years
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Patient, professional and compassionate approach
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- No CD, DD, DR or IN endorsements
