As a mixed vet you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic and on farms and yards, whilst ensuring we deliver exceptional care for our clients, patients and colleagues and maintain the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance. Due to a colleague leaving for New Zealand we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at Medivet Ellesmere (Blakemere Vets). Ideally, you will be an experienced vet with confidence across mixed practice, although we are also keen to hear from motivated new graduates looking to develop their career within a supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and collaborative team committed to providing high standards of patient and client care while supporting professional growth and work-life balance.

What You’ll Be Doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Full-time position
- Mixed veterinary caseload
- 1 in 4 weekend out-of-hours rota
- 1 in 5 weekday night duties
- Opportunity for future Branch Partnership
- Salary up to £63,000 pa depending on experience
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults/on farms/yards and perform surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
