Job Description
As a Mixing Operative with 2 Sisters Food Group, you’ll be expected to:
- To monitor and complete documentation efficiently and appropriately.
- Keep your knowledge of allergens and non-allergens up to date.
- Ensure that customer specifications are adhered to.
- Hold responsibility for the ordering of all ingredients and completion stock checks.
- Attend daily meetings with First Line Managers.
- Communicate clearly when a line schedule is not on target or where it is foreseen that a target will not be met, detailing the reasons for this.
- Ensure products on the production line are fit for purpose.
- Reporting machine faults and issues to line.
- Keeping machines and production areas clean during your shift.

The Shifts
Rotating shift pattern:
- WEEK 1 - Monday to Saturday; 06:00-14:30
- WEEK 2 - Monday to Friday; 14:30-23:00
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate
If you have experience within food production that’s great, but what we are really looking for is:
- Maintain excellent knowledge of allergens and non- allergens (training will be given).
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Good team working and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and highly resilient.
- Food safety Level 2 (training will be given).
- A good understanding of your own responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

The Scunthorpe site is a whole bird processing site, we process everything, nothing goes to waste.

The working environment is chilled and noisy; we provide all necessary PPE but advise you wear layers to ensure you’re comfortable.
