Position: Trainee Casino Cashier
Location: Milton Keynes Casino
Hours Per Week: 40
Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour

As a trainee casino cashier, you will be joining a team to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the cash desk is in accordance with casino procedures and UK Gambling Commission regulations.
Full training will be provided.

About you:
We are looking for
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Customer focused with a friendly and approachable manner
- Previous casino experience desirable
- Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends
- Ideally candidates will live in Milton Keynes

Duties include but not limited to:
- To provide all guests with excellent and attentive service
- To ensure all policies and procedures in company manuals are strictly adhered to
- Adhere to all LCCP, AMLD, SG, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
- Accurately handle cash, chips and tickets for customers and staff
- Process customers buy-ins and cash-outs in line with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of cash and chip movements
- Respond to customer queries
- Assist in the full cash desk reconciliation
- Assist in the reconciling of ATM’s and ticket redemption machines
- Updating points/player tracking for customers
- Attend all required training
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the cash desk area
- Upon completion of training, you will be expected to perform all duties of a cashier in the day-to-day operations
- To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity
- To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times
- To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise
- To attend and conduct meetings as and when required
- Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
- To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures. Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation
- To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives
- In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager
