MLD Assistant - Maidenhead
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience supporting young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?
A specialist school in Maidenhead is seeking a caring and enthusiastic MLD Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Education.
As an MLD Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with MLD.
- Help students develop confidence, independence, and communication skills.
- Support students with their learning and day-to-day activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation, and social development.
- Adapt support to suit individual learning needs and abilities.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to help students achieve their goals.

We're looking for an MLD Assistant who is:

Job Details
- Location: Maidenhead
- Setting: Specialist/SEN School
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: £93-£110 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Contract: Full-time
