AI Interview: Due to high number of applications, we're using an AI platform to assist with screening applications. This will involve a 20-25 mins interview via a chat platform, after which you will immediately receive feedback based on your responses. All applications will be reviewed by a recruiter, and you'll be informed whether or not you've been progressed to the next stage - meeting the hiring manager.
About The Role
Join our SME Mid Market Sales & Commercial team as a Mobile Account Manager, where you'll play a key role in protecting, growing, and developing BT's mobile customer base. This is a commercially focused account management role that combines customer retention, contract renewals, and revenue growth.
Working with small and medium-sized business customers, you'll act as the mobile specialist within the account team, helping customers maximise value from their existing services while identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand the relationship. This is a hands‑on, phone‑led sales role where success comes from strong engagement, consistent activity, and ownership of your pipeline and targets.
Mid‑Market sits at a strategic sweet spot — large enough to sell meaningful, complex solutions, but agile enough to avoid enterprise‑level bureaucracy. You’ll have direct access to decision‑makers, faster sales cycles, and the opportunity to see real impact from the relationships you build.
You'll work closely with Account Managers and specialist teams to deliver tailored solutions, defend existing business in a highly competitive market, and create long-term value for both customers and BT. Success in this role comes from building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs, and using your mobile expertise to retain customers and uncover growth opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
