Senior Mobile App Developer (iOS / Android)
Manchester (1-2 days per week in office) | Hybrid Working | £60,000-£80,000 + Benefits
We are looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer to take ownership of mobile application development within a growing technology business. This is an opportunity to lead the development of business-critical mobile applications used in real-world logistics and connected device environments, whilst working closely with backend engineers, designers, and product teams.
You will play a key role in shaping the future mobile strategy as the business transitions from Flutter-based applications back to native mobile development, giving you significant influence over architecture, technical direction, and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift
- Support and enhance Android applications where required
- Lead the migration of selected mobile applications from Flutter to native platforms
- Build integrations with BLE-enabled devices and hardware products
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs connected to a logistics platform
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products
- Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, usability, and reliability
- Contribute to mobile architecture, technical decisions, and development best practices

Requirements
- Strong commercial experience developing iOS applications using Swift
- Good Android development experience
- Experience building and maintaining mobile applications throughout the full development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of mobile UI and UX principles
- Experience integrating REST APIs into mobile applications
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Desirable Experience
- Commercial experience with Flutter
