About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery and strategic direction of React Native development across iOS and Android platforms. Working within a nationally recognized client environment, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of a hybrid mobile application library that serves millions of end-users. Your expertise will guide decisions on when to utilize hybrid approaches versus native development, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Collaborating closely with iOS and Android architects, you will align cross-platform architectural strategies, resolve technical constraints, and foster innovation within the mobile development ecosystem. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented engineering team, influence technological advancements, and contribute significantly to the client’s digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in leading React Native development teams and delivering large-scale mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of cross-platform architecture, native iOS and Android development, and hybrid app strategies.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with native development tools such as Xcode and Android Studio.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex architectural challenges.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical delivery and strategic vision for React Native applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance hybrid mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including iOS and Android architects to align on architectural decisions and resolve constraints.
- Evaluate when hybrid approaches are appropriate versus native development, providing guidance to stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of React Native developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to deliver quality solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and project planning sessions to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
