Miller Homes has embarked on a digital transformation journey which is driven and managed by the digital content delivery team. The DCD team is responsible for the full development lifecycle of the suite of apps comprising customer journey, workforce productivity and best practice strands of the digital strategy. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated application developer who has strong analytical and problem solving skills to proactively assist with the delivery of projects which are deliverables of the overall strategy.

Mobile Applications Developer Responsibilities

  • Development, improvement, and maintenance of new and existing smartphone apps and webapps
  • Ensure the ongoing reliability, security, and performance of mobile applications by regularly patching vulnerabilities, updating dependencies, and keeping the codebase current with the latest libraries, frameworks, and operating system versions.
  • Provide ongoing support and technical expertise on existing apps and the creation of any new apps which may be required.
  • Provide second-line support for employees regarding all apps within the business

Mobile Applications Developer Requirements

  • Essential technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, VS Code
  • Desirable technical skills in React Native / Expo / Expo EAS, Azure DevOps, Github
  • Able to work in a team-oriented, multi-functional, collaborative environment.
  • System design or IT related college or university degree, ideally combined with a minimum of 6-12 months in a similar IT role
