Mobile Auto Electrician
Location: Mobile – Southern England
Salary: Up to £43,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
OTE: £45,000 – £50,000

The Opportunity
Staffbase are delighted to be supporting a leading provider of vehicle tracking, telematics, and vehicle safety solutions with the recruitment of an experienced Mobile Auto Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician looking to join a successful and growing business, working on a wide range of vehicles throughout Southern England.
The Role
As a Mobile Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of vehicle technology and safety systems at customer locations. Your work will include:
- Installing and commissioning vehicle tracking and telematics systems
- Installing vehicle camera and vision systems
- Installing sensors and other vehicle safety systems
- Working with both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Carrying out installations across a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicles
- Travelling to customer locations throughout Southern England
- Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and in accordance with technical requirements
- Providing a professional service when working directly with customers

About You
We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician / Vehicle Installation Engineer who is comfortable working independently in a mobile field-based role. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician
- Experience working with 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems
- Previous experience installing telematics, vehicle tracking, cameras, sensors, or vehicle safety systems
- A good understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems
- The ability to diagnose and resolve electrical installation issues
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own daily schedule
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to undertake daily regional travel throughout Southern England

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday – 48 hours per week
- Overtime available – door-to-door pay
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 basic salary
- Bonus + overtime
- OTE £45,000 – £50,000
