Mobile Chef Manager
Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire
Salary: £34,265 per annum

About The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Mobile Chef Manager to join our team at Eurest at NEXT in Pontefract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on culinary professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering great food and service, and building strong relationships with clients and customers. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards across the operation while supporting commercial performance and identifying opportunities to improve and grow the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Understand and deliver all contractual terms and service standards.
- Build positive relationships with the client and communicate any on-site changes to your line manager.
- Ensure action plans are completed following client satisfaction surveys.
- Deliver hospitality to the required standard and identify opportunities to upsell and increase revenue.
- Ensure company promotions are implemented correctly and products are accurately priced.
- Identify additional business opportunities and discuss these with your line manager.
- Monitor and manage gross profit, ensuring cost and sales records are accurate and maintained.
- Record and minimise food waste.
- Implement and maintain all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Ensure HSE incidents are reported and investigated appropriately, with working practices reviewed where required.
- Lead, support, coach and develop the team, ensuring everyone has the training they need to succeed.
- Monitor labour turnover and ensure the team is fully recruited.
- Develop and maintain an effective succession plan.
- Ensure the team follows all Health & Safety and Food Safety policies.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in line with required standards and portion specifications.
- Manage food orders, deliveries, receipt of goods and appropriate storage.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Ensure machinery and equipment is used correctly and safely.
- Support the wider operation with other reasonable duties to ensure an effective food service.

About You

You’ll Ideally Have
- Previous professional culinary experience.
- Previous management experience in a similar Chef Manager or senior culinary role.
- A genuine passion for food and delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work positively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A friendly, helpful and polite approach.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A strong understanding of food safety, HSE and operational standards.
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of GP, costs, sales and waste.
- The confidence to lead, coach and develop a team.
