Job Description

To carry out designated duties to a high service and cleanliness, adhering to Aramark’s standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring complete client satisfaction is achieved. The primary responsibility will be working on instructions given by your manager and using your own initiative when cleaning at various locations. This will involve sickness and holiday cover and scheduled cleaning where required. This role will require you to be flexible, may include evenings and weekend work, to meet the company needs where required. Following the Health & Safety sign-in/out company policy.

Job Responsibilities

  • To clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice, ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved
  • To correctly use cleaning supplies and equipment
  • To wear the company uniform when on duty
  • To maintain a clean and tidy working environment
  • To maintain a safe working environment when working
  • To carry out special cleaning as required
  • To dispose of refuse in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift
  • To replenish soap, handrolls, toilet rolls, etc.
  • To assist with department stock takes
  • To ensure that all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order
  • To report any equipment defects promptly
  • To ensure that lost property is recorded accurately and promptly
  • To ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met
  • To ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly, ensuring client satisfaction
  • To adhere to Aramark H&S policies

Security clearance required – CTC and Enhanced Access NI

Current clean valid driving licence

Working pattern will be 5 days over 7

Evenings/Weekends and overtime may be required

Company van & fuel card Provided

Qualifications

  • Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance and knowledge of cleaning and related health and safety
  • To actively participate in the company appraisal
  • To ensure any documentation produced reflects the overall quality achieved within the business (Timesheets, stock/order sheets, van checks, defect sheets, holiday requests)
  • To ensure the storage of documentation is to company standards
  • Carry out any other reasonable request of the management
