Commercial Gas Engineer
Location
Alloa, Stirling, and surrounding areas (with travel across region)
Salary
GBP43,000 to GBP47,000+ per annum (DOE; up to GBP50k for exceptional experience)
Hours
40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute break)
Are you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a stable role with fantastic earning potential, portal-to-portal pay, and a great work-life balance? We are looking for a qualified engineer to join our supportive, collaborative team covering Alloa, Stirling, Dumfries, and surrounding local areas.
What We Offer
- Generous Base Salary: GBP43,000 for up to 5 years experience; GBP47,000-GBP50,000 for highly experienced engineers.
- Door-to-Door Pay: Get paid from the moment you leave your front door until you return.
- On-Call Rota (1 in 6 weeks): Paid GBP15/day stand-by allowance.
- Overtime Rates: 1.5x pay (Mon-Sat until 2:30 PM) and 2.0x double-time pay (Sat after 2:30 PM, Sundays, and Bank Holidays).
- 34 Days Holiday: Generous paid annual leave allowance.
- Company Transport: Dedicated company van with fuel card (take home allowed).

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas systems and associated heating equipment.
- Diagnose, fault-find, and resolve complex issues safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all works strictly comply with Gas Safe and health and safety regulations.
- Complete accurate service reports, compliance certificates, and documentation electronically.
- Provide professional, high-standard customer service to commercial client accounts across the region.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Gas Safe Registered with relevant commercial and domestic tickets:
- Commercial: COCN1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
- Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, ICAE1
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City and Guilds in Plumbing, HVAC, or relevant engineering discipline.
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
- IPAF and PASMA certifications are highly advantageous.
- Proven experience working on commercial heating and gas installations.
