Location: London (within M25)

Salary: £55,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, working across a varied portfolio of commercial and education sites throughout London within the M25.

The successful engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of commercial gas heating and hot water systems, primarily within plant room environments. There will also be some travel across other areas within the M25 to provide additional cover for sickness and holidays when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial gas systems.
  • Maintain and repair commercial gas heating and hot water systems, primarily within plant rooms.
  • Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and remedial works.
  • Complete routine inspections and ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports.
  • Provide additional support across other areas within the M25 when required to cover sickness and holidays.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team and maintain strong customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Current ACS Commercial Gas qualifications
  • Proven plumbing or mechanical background.
  • Strong experience working with commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Controls experience would be highly desirable and candidates will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge at interview.
  • PASMA qualification would be desirable.
  • IPAF qualification would be desirable.

Package

  • Salary £55,000
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Working hours between 08:00 and 16:30
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Company van with private use permitted
  • Fuel card

  • Specialist tools provided (engineer to provide own hand tools)
  • Full induction training, including IT training
