Salary: £55,000 per annum + Company Vehicle & Fuel Card

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join an established Engineering & Maintenance service provider, covering commercial sites across London and within the M25.

This is a permanent, mobile position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with the successful engineer ideally based in North London or Essex.

You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial gas, heating and hot water systems across a varied portfolio of commercial sites.

The Role

  • Service, maintain and repair commercial gas heating systems and appliances
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across client sites
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on boilers and combustion systems
  • Complete servicing, testing and gas compliance works
  • Respond to callouts during working hours and participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota
  • Complete accurate job reports, compliance documentation and certification
  • Liaise with the FM Helpdesk, Contract Manager and clients regarding works and job progress
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations where required
  • Carry out associated heating and mechanical works
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance and customer service

Essential Requirements

  • Commercial Gas qualifications, including relevant qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, CCN1 and CENWAT
  • Strong experience working with commercial boilers and combustion systems
  • Proven commercial fault-finding and repair experience
  • Good knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems and controls/BMS
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS
  • CSCS Card – Gold or above
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
