Mobile Corporate Receptionist

Contract: Government

Location: London, E14 4PU

Hours of work: 25 | Monday - Friday, typically between 13:00 - 18:00

Contract Type: Permanent


We are seeking a personable, confident and professional individual to fill the role of Corporate Receptionist within a busy and vibrant corporate environment.

As the first point of contact for all visitors and staff, you will demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service, awareness, and a passion for delivering a welcoming and courteous reception experience.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can consistently maintain high front-of-house standards while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of reception operations. You will represent the organisation with professionalism, ensuring all interactions are handled calmly, efficiently and in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional meet and greet service for visitors and employees, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out processes and issue passes in line with SOPs
  • Communicate fire and safety procedures clearly to all visitors upon arrival
  • Maintain high front-of-house standards and ensure reception areas remain presentable at all times
  • Handle incoming calls and emails in line with contract SLAs and provide accurate information
  • Operate the switchboard in a warm, confident and professional manner
  • Manage meeting room bookings, set-ups and ensure rooms are clean and prepared to standard
  • Monitor reception for security risks, reporting suspicious activity and supporting evacuation procedures when required

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • A background in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred
  • The ability to work independently while remaining focused, motivated, and proactive
  • The ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement when dealing with day-to-day responsibilities
  • An efficient, professional, and courteous manner
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Experience of delivering reception services within a busy corporate environment
  • The ability to manage and respond to enquiries and messages from visitors and staff members in a timely, efficient, friendly, and helpful manner
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of service while embracing change and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
