The Role
As The Mobile Electrical Engineer, You'll
- Diagnose electrical faults, safely isolate systems and complete repairs and functional testing.
- Deliver electrical PPM and remedial works in line with SFG20 requirements.
- Inspect and test installations, completing accurate certificates, test results and defect reports.
- Maintain and test emergency lighting systems, identifying failures and replacement requirements.
- Conduct generator and standby-power load testing and escalate risks affecting emergency power.
- Coordinate access, permits and isolations while following approved safe systems of work.
- Support wider mobile engineering requirements when primary contract workloads permit.

About You
To be successful as the Mobile Electrical Engineer, you'll have:
- A Level 3 electrical installation and maintenance qualification or recognised equivalent.
- A current 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification.
- An inspection and testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical fault diagnosis, certification, reactive repairs and SFG20-aligned maintenance.
- Knowledge of emergency lighting and experience with generator or standby-power testing.
- IPAF and PASMA certification, or the ability to obtain and maintain them.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently across London.
- Experience in occupied or critical environments, UPS or automatic transfer systems would be advantageous.

- £48,000–£50,000 annual salary.
- 16-week contract with temp-to-perm potential.
- Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
- Mobile role covering sites across London.

The position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent; permanent employment is not guaranteed.
