Trevett Services are working with the UK’s largest engineering and services business, which has been in operation for over 100 years. Our client is looking to recruit a mobile electrical engineer to work on a mixed commercial contract across SE London, Kent and Sussex.
The Role
As a mobile electrical engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive on their Southeastern Trains contract. You will be working predominantly in stations as well as some train depots.

Typical duties include:
- Fault-finding
- Small installations
- Control panels
- Power distribution
- Lamping
- Ballast changes
- Emergency lighting testing/maintenance
- AHU & FCU maintenance

Your hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:00 – 16:30, with a 1 in 6 call out (standby is £120).

Qualifications & Experience
Our client is ideally seeking someone who has a level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering is required along with the 18th edition. They also require someone to have at least 18 months experience within a similar role in Facilities Management.
