We’re Hiring: Mobile Electrician
MW Building Services London Ltd (MWBS) is looking for an experienced and reliable Mobile Electrician to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an electrician who enjoys working across a variety of commercial properties and building services projects, providing both planned and reactive electrical works.
🔧 The Role
As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and reactive works across our client sites. Typical duties will include:
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Electrical installation and alterations
- EICRs and electrical testing
- Emergency lighting inspections and repairs
- Small power and lighting works
- Distribution board and associated electrical works
- Carrying out remedial works
- Completing electrical certification and job reports
- Liaising professionally with clients and site teams
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard

🎓 Main Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold:
- JIB Gold Card / recognised ECS Gold Card
- City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing
- DBS (Advanced preferable but not essential)
We would also value candidates with:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in commercial buildings
- Experience carrying out EICRs
- Full UK driving licence
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong health & safety awareness
