About The Role

We are seeking an experienced AC Engineer to join a prominent engineering service company operating across multiple commercial sites in London. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on diverse projects within the Central London and M25 region. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The position provides a competitive salary of up to £55,000, along with additional benefits such as a company vehicle and fuel card to facilitate efficient job execution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including one of the following:

  • City & Guilds F-Gas Category 1 or J11 F-Gas certification
  • City & Guilds Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Level 1 & 2

While installation experience is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of HVAC systems, with a focus on safety, compliance, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance on chillers, air conditioning units, VRV/VRF/VAV systems, AHUs, and FCUs across multiple commercial sites.
  • Update maintenance logs and ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Respond promptly to urgent equipment or facility breakdowns, providing immediate solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out testing to verify the safety and reliability of HVAC equipment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in a 1 in 12 call-out rota, providing after-hours support when required.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service activities and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
