About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Mobile Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing our extensive range of equipment at customer sites. This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing equipment service schedules, responding promptly to breakdowns, and ensuring operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work independently in the field, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality service and supporting our ESG Strategy, Decade to Deliver. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical engineering to grow within a reputable organization that values innovation, safety, and employee development.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a full driving license and demonstrate previous mechanical engineering experience, preferably within the hire industry or a related engineering field. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, are essential for managing service schedules and reporting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to liaise effectively with customers and team members. The ability to work independently under pressure, as well as collaboratively within a team, is crucial. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to supporting business objectives aligned with ESG principles and a proactive attitude towards safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and servicing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs efficiently on-site.
- Managing service schedules proactively to minimize downtime.
- Responding swiftly to breakdowns to support customer operations.
- Documenting maintenance activities accurately.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Supporting the delivery of the ESG Strategy through responsible and sustainable engineering practices.
- Collaborating with internal teams to share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
