Job Description: Mobile Software Engineer
Wipro’s dynamic approach to people, process and technology has established us as an industry leader. We provide professional services that help enterprises accelerate transformation, modernise processes and unlock greater value from their technology and data.
We are looking for Mobile Software Engineers to design, develop and enhance high-quality Android or iOS applications. Depending on your specialism, you will bring strong Kotlin and Java expertise for Android development or strong Swift expertise for iOS development.
Location: UK
Basis: 12 month fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain mobile applications for Android or iOS.
- Build Android solutions using Kotlin and Java, or iOS solutions using Swift.
- Translate requirements into well-structured, maintainable mobile software.
- Test, troubleshoot and improve application quality and performance.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and delivery activities.
- Collaborate effectively with UK and offshore engineering teams.

- Strong mobile software engineering experience.
- For Android roles, strong Kotlin and Java expertise.
- For iOS roles, strong Swift expertise.
- Experience developing maintainable, production-quality mobile applications.
- Strong testing, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
