Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: South East London (Mobile)

Salary: GBP52,000 per annum + Company Van and Fuel Card

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Standard Day Shift)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas and F:Gas Engineer to cover commercial sites across South East London. In this role, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and fault finding across commercial heating, boiler plant rooms, and air conditioning/HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Carry out routine PPMs, servicing, and reactive breakdown repairs on commercial heating systems, boilers, water heaters, and AC equipment.
  • Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical plant room issues and refrigeration/HVAC circuits efficiently.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to Gas Safe regulations, F:Gas compliance standards, and British Safety regulations.
  • System Testing: Perform gas tightness testing, flue gas analysis, and complete digital job sheets via CAFM / mobile software.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a professional technical point of contact for on-site facility managers and building owners.

Requirements And Qualifications

Essential Qualification / Skill Details

  • Commercial Gas Certification: Valid ACS Commercial Gas tickets (COCN1 / CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1, ICPN1)
  • F:Gas Certification: Category 1 F:Gas (City and Guilds 2079 / CITB)
  • Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (clean or low points)
