Mobile Vehicle Technician (HGV Trucks & Trailers)

Location: Midlands

Employment Type: Full-time, Mobile Role.

We’re seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a well-established team supporting customers across the Midlands. This role is ideal for someone confident working independently, with solid technical knowledge of HGV trucks and trailers and a strong focus on quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers
  • Diagnose faults quickly and accurately using strong technical and diagnostic skills
  • Perform trailer repairs, including brakes, electrics, suspension, and bodywork
  • Complete all work to industry standards, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Provide mobile support to customers across the Midlands region
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and the office team

  • Proven experience working on HGV trucks and trailers
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Experience with trailer repairs
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
