Role Description

The Mobile Maintenance Electrician 2391 role is a full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham, working across multiple client locations in the area. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves performing reactive and planned preventive maintenance, ensuring systems meet safety and regulatory requirements, and accurately recording all work completed. The electrician will liaise with clients and internal teams, prioritize workloads, and respond to call-outs to minimize downtime and maintain reliable operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Electrical Maintenance and general Electricity knowledge
  • Effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
  • Maintenance & Repair capabilities for building services and electrical systems
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance routines and schedules
  • A relevant electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing certification
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites in Birmingham and surrounding areas
  • Good communication skills, safe working practices, and familiarity with applicable electrical regulations
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or MEP environments; prior work with commercial or industrial sites is beneficial
