Job Description
Responsible for completing a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Inspections. You will be required to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and 6-monthly PPM tasks adhering to SFG20 requirements. Completing and documenting check sheets and reports for each PPM task including daily and weekly system checks.
- Ensure we maintain effective communication with the client's site engineering team.
- Produce weekly reports for the FM supervisor detailing site activities and plans.
- Maintain all electrical and mechanical plant services to industry standards.
- Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, method statements, and QHSE permitting.
- Schedule subcontractor visits and ensure adherence to client security protocols.
- Possess technical knowledge of critical environments, including AHUs, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, BeMS, auxiliary systems, Pumps, control circuits, FCUs, Fresh air systems, ventilation systems, Chilled and controller water systems, LTHW systems, H&V systems, etc.
- Identify part replacements and obtain quotations for condition maintenance plans.
- Ensure statutory engineering maintenance documentation is maintained and accessible.
- Oversee completion of PPMs and Client Service Requests in line with SLA's.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and review site SOPs, ERA's, and scenario training.
- Adhere to King & Moffatt QHSE procedures and implement improvements identified during inspections.
- Take part in technical training requirements, including competency assessments and scenario training exercises.
- Directly accountable to the King & Moffatt FM Supervisor/Manager/Coordinator.
- No direct budgetary responsibility but requires financial awareness.
- Flexibility in service delivery around client needs.
- Be part of out-of-hour call-out for site facility.

Person Specification
- Strong experience in data center or similar clean room production unit.
- Proficiency in PC and MS Office applications.
- Recognized 3rd NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing / HVAC or equivalent.
- Excellent fault diagnosis skills.
- Experience with BMS Controls and HVAC systems.
- Good technical knowledge and the ability to project manage and multitask.
- Ability to work to high standards against agreed timescales with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of emergency response, standby, and call-out activities and protocols.
- Experience with UPS, standby power, lifts, boilers, and HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Advanced Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical trade Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing / HVAC or equivalent.
- Proven experience in commercial mechanical maintenance.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, pumps, etc.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

- C&G Air Source Heat Pump Systems (2924)
- C&G F GAS and ODS Regulations (2079)
- IPAF, PASMA, or other access-related qualifications.
