Job Title: Mobile M&E Building Services Engineer

Salary: £42,000 per annum

Location: Hertfordshire

Job Type: Technical / Engineering

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Job Summary

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is seeking a Mobile M&E Engineer to maintain a mixed commercial portfolio across Hertfordshire only. This is a local role with no London travel, ideal for engineers with a strong mechanical or electrical building services background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across commercial buildings.
  • Respond to reactive M&E faults and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Service and maintain electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
  • Diagnose faults on HVAC, heating, ventilation, and associated plant.
  • Complete job reports and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while covering a mobile Hertfordshire portfolio.
  • Complying with SFG20
  • Record Keeping / Logbooks

Requirements

  • Need to live in the Hertfordshire area
  • Level 2/3 Electrical Installation or Level 2/3 mechanical/plumbing
  • Strong building services knowledge
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • UK Driver’s License
  • Right to work in the UK
