Job Title: Mobile Supervisor

Salary: £50,000 per annum + package

Location: Southwest – Bristol, Bath & Cardiff

Job Type: Technical / Engineering

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Job Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Mobile Supervisor to join our client’s team, covering a portfolio of sites across Bristol, Bath and Cardiff.

This is a newly awarded contract, so we’re looking for a strong and experienced candidate who can take ownership of the role and help ensure the smooth delivery of building services maintenance across the contract.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard, while maintaining strong levels of compliance, health and safety and customer service.

The successful candidate will have an Electrical bias, alongside solid mechanical building services experience, and will be confident managing contractors across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and specialist contractors across multiple sites.
  • Carry out and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies and ensure issues are dealt with promptly.
  • Monitor plant and equipment and identify potential maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and specialist engineers.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with statutory compliance requirements.
  • Support energy and carbon-reduction initiatives across the contract.
  • Manage and review permits, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Travel between sites across Bristol, Bath and Cardiff.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Requirements

  • Strong experience within building services / facilities maintenance.
  • Electrical bias with good technical knowledge.
  • Mechanical building services experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or contract management position.
  • Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors and specialist contractors.
  • Good understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
  • Experience with permits, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Strong health and safety awareness.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
