Mobile Fabric Technician
Multiple Locations Across the East Midlands & Staffordshire

We are currently seeking a Mobile Fabric Technician to support our operational teams across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled trades professionals looking to develop their career within a global organisation that values safety, innovation, and service excellence.
About The Role
As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across client sites, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance tasks and repairs within agreed timescales.
- Undertake basic fabric maintenance including carpentry, flooring, wall coverings, ceilings, and general building repairs.
- Complete ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
- Carry out lighting maintenance, lamp replacements, AHU/FCU filter changes, and basic plumbing tasks.
- Conduct site surveys and assist in producing work requests, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Utilise handheld devices (PDA) to manage work orders, updates, and communications.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and minor project activities.
- Build strong working relationships with client representatives and colleagues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Support additional maintenance and facilities tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a Fabric Technician, Building Maintenance, Carpentry, or similar role.
- City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Carpentry.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, including COSHH, Risk Assessments, and Working at Height.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- IT literacy and experience using mobile devices for work management.

Desirable
- IOSH and/or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience working within commercial or high-profile environments.
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience.
