Mobile Nursery Housekeeper
Mobile Housekeeper – Fennies Nurseries
Location & Hours
- Basing Location: Based from Clapham with travel to multiple Fennies Nursery Sites
- Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6pm – 10pm
- Salary: £12.71 per hour, with the opportunity to earn a performance-related bonus (up to £12.71/hour)

Create clean and safe spaces that welcome children and teams into environments where they can grow, thrive, and enjoy every day. At Fennies, a well-maintained environment is vital for early childhood development. As a Mobile Housekeeper, you’ll support the nursery team by:
- Ensuring rooms are organised and hygienic
- Shocking environments ready for high-quality learning and care
- Providing flexibility across multiple nursery locations
This role is ideal for someone who prides themselves on their work, thrives on variety, and loves contributing to something meaningful—whether it’s sparking a child’s curiosity or making a nursery feel like a calm, nurturing space.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at different nursery locations
- Travelling between sites during the week to deliver consistent standards
- Completing daily, weekly, and deep cleaning tasks
- Adhering to strict cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures to support health and safety
- Responding to urgent cleaning needs and supporting the team during busy periods or absences
- Collaborating with nursery teams to create calm, organised spaces that support children’s experiences
- Following company procedures for equipment use, protective wear, and reporting any safety hazards
- Keeping high attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding standards

Requirements
Fennies are looking for reliable, detail-focused professionals who take pride in their work. You’ll need:
- Previous cleaning experience (this is essential)
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to multiple locations
- Strong attention to detail—both in cleaning and in your application
- Dependability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Flexibility to travel and switch between sites as needed
- Good communication skills to work effectively with teams
- A positive, solution-focused attitude
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in schools, nurseries, healthcare, or childcare settings
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products (COSHH certification)
- A full UK driving licence (to support site travel)
