Mobile Painter & Decorator
Full time/Permanent
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Covering our portfolio of care homes across the North of England.
Are you a master of your trade with a passion for delivering high standards? Orchard Care Homes is looking for a Mobile Painter & Decorator to work across our 23 sites across OHG portfolio, to ensure our homes remain welcoming, safe, and beautifully maintained.
As Mobile Painter & Decorator, you will act as a point of contact for all decorating queries, ensuring that all decorating tasks are completed on time and to agreed scope, ensuring the home remains pleasant and safe for our residents at all times.
This Includes
- Acting as a point of contact for all decorating queries.
- Liaising with the Home Manager ensuring the care home is maintained in good decorative order.
- Ensuring timely completion of allocated decorating tasks, completed to agreed scope.
- Understanding and meet statutory and legal requirements such as Food Safety, COSHH and Fire Safety and to maintain a safe environment throughout the care home.
- Reporting any deficiencies that are out of the scope of this role to the Home Manager and Estates team and follow these up.
- Respecting residents at all times, especially their individual right to privacy, dignity and choice.
- Liaising with external contractors to ensure that all requirements relating to Health & Safety and the Care Standards Act legislation are fully met.

About You
- Master of trade and detail orientated.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- IT literate – confident using MS Office and online FM platforms.
- Clean driving licence and flexibility to travel, including overnight stays.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Professional, approachable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
