We’re Hiring: Mobile Patrol Officer

📍 Location: Wakefield, UK

💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour

📅 Hours: 42 hours per week - 4on 4off - nights and days.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Provides a variety of mobile security services including but not limited to locks, unlocks, patrols both external and internal, alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services, etc.
  • Remaining professional, polite, and helpful to clients, client’s staff, and Securitas colleagues at all times.
  • Taking direction from the Team Leaders.
  • Always wears the company uniform. Including visually always displaying SIA license and security ID card.
  • Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Whilst driving the company vehicle, abides by the rules of the road (Highway code) and always drives with due care and attention, being courteous to other road users, and does not bring the company name or brand into disrepute.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A valid SIA licence.
  • Manual Driving Licence.
  • Mobile patrol officer experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Physically fit for patrolling of site.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
